Update #19 - Production Run Update!

Hey Everyone,

We just put in the security deposit for the MAGKEY production run and should be starting production Monday of next week. :) Whoo-hoo! 

Our manufacturer is working on a prettier engraving method for the MAGKEY magnets and should have some pictures sent to us soon. He is going to engrave first and then coat, leading to a pretty (+) and (-) while also leading to stronger magnets that are less prone to chipping. We'll post pictures up in the next update!

Hi Everyone,

Thank you all so much for making this project happen! A few months ago MAGKEY was just an idea in my head and now it is ready to become a living, breathing company! Couldn't thank Kickstarter and the awesome crowdfunding community enough. 

Kickstarter’s mission is to help bring creative projects to life. 5 months ago I moved up to San Francisco to pursue my passion for product design.  I was driving for Uber everyday trying to make ends meet all the while trying to design something that I thought would add value to someone's day. Never in my wildest dreams did I think MAGKEY would grow into what it is today.  

All I am is thankful. Thankful for Kickstarter, for the support of my team, and most of all for the support and kindness of all 2,064 backers. 

What an amazing ride it's been - thanks again everyone! 

Now time for a weekend off. :)

We broke 2000 backers!!!! Thank you to all of those who have pledged and shared our project. We only have 14 hours left now and really need your support - keep sharing! We wanted to release an update because we have been receiving a lot of questions regarding BackerKit and post survey processes.  A lot of people have asked us if they can add additional MAGKEY sets to their pledges.  

Kickstarter will not allow you to double up on rewards, however with the BackerKit survey we will provide a means for you to add additional MAGKEY sets to your pledge! We will have HAVOK and BOMBER keychains available as well!
